David Hurtado
BA MArch (Cantab)

is a multi-national architect and filmmaker. He currently oversees exhibition design at Foster + Partners and has consulted at 2x4 and independently on a wide range of projects dealing with landscape and globalization in the United Kingdom, Mexico City, Okinawa, Doha and the United States. His film works have been exhibited at La Biennale di Venezia, The Heong Gallery, and the British School at Rome. In 2024 he convened the symposium Architecture and the Moving Image and worked on the set of Focus Features’ forthcoming film Anemone (2025). His writing has appeared in The Cambridge Review of Books and The Avery Review. He holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Cambridge and a BA from Yale University.
